NiceHat.com evolved as a result of the fact that I drive a convertible while wearing a large, sun-faded, rather incongruous looking black hat. While driving around, people who fancy themselves to have a clever sense of humor often find themselves hollering at me at the top of their lungs "HEY, NICE HAT!"
So, after purchasing a vanity plate which allows me to have the last word (I am a woman, after all), and it makes people smile at random silliness, I realized that perhaps it might be fun to also purchase the domain name.
I didn't really have any plans for the domain name other than to own it. It has kind of morphed into the home of various odds and ends. Mostly projects that are works in progress. Much like my life.
